About Us
The Historic Anderson Mansion is located in Marietta, Georgia, just three blocks west of the Marietta Square. Built in 1900, this beautiful Victorian Mansion provides a wonderful setting for special events, including social events, weddings and dinner parties.
We know that every event is unique and special so our staff will be happy to help you plan the perfect event. Our caterer, Carriage House Catering of Marietta, will be happy to assist you.

Anderson House Package. Your Holiday Party and Special Events Package includes just about everything you should need for an enchanting evening:
- Use of the entire main floor and grounds of the Historic Anderson House
- Food will be served from the formal dining room with its two dramatic crystal chandeliers
- Two parlor sitting rooms with comfortable chairs for your guests
- Beverages will be served from a large sideboard in the main hallway
- Bar service can be set-up on the front porch or in the main floor lobby, when requested
- China plates, buffet table linens and silver serving pieces are included in the package
- Set-up and clean-up of your Event
- Uniformed servers will replenish food and beverages throughout your event and keep rooms tidy
Hours of Availability.
The Historic Anderson House is available for Holiday Parties and Social Events on weekday evenings from 7:00 - 10:00 pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays from noon - 3:00 pm or 7:00 - 10:00 pm.
Reservation and Security Deposit. For Events at the Historic Anderson House, a $500 non-refundable Reservation
Deposit is due at contract signing. In addition, a $500.00 Security Deposit is required two weeks before your event and is refundable two weeks after your event. Any loss or damage to the Historic Anderson House will be deducted from the Security Deposit.
Taxes and Gratuity. Georgia sales tax (currently 6%) will be added to your Event Package. There is no charge for gratuity.
Alcoholic Beverages. If you would like to make alcoholic beverages available to your guests, you may
provide your own alcohol and the caterer will supply a professional,
insured Bartender for alcohol service. You may opt for a limited Wine, Beer and Champagne Service or a Full Bar, Mixed Drinks Service. To help you plan for your event, our caterer has prepared a chart of suggested quantities of alcohol to purchase for events at The Whitlock Inn. For your protection, and ours, we reserve the right to close the bar.
Parking. Guests coming to the Historic Anderson House may park on the premises. The Historic Anderson House parking lot is accessible via Whitlock Avenue as well as Wright Street. If additional parking spaces are needed, guests may park in the Suntrust Bank lot adjacent to The Whitlock Inn, except Weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm, banking hours. With permission, guests may also use the First United Methodist Church lot across Whitlock Avenue from the Historic Anderson House. After 6 pm, there is also parking around the Marietta Square.
